REJOICING IN THE LORD’S WATCHFUL CARE

In the 18th century there was a doctrine that affected some believers. This doctrine suggested that perhaps God created the world, but He does not really care about the world He made. He had left man to his own devices. This doctrine call Deism hurt many believers and caused them to give up their faith in God. This doctrine is well refuted by the following text.

“The LORD looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men.
From the place of His dwelling He looks on all the inhabitants
of the earth;
He fashions their hearts individually;
He considers all their works.”
Psalm 33:13-15
