1. Destruction of the enemy
a) You have made a city a ruin (Isaiah 25:2)
b) A palace of foreigners to be a city no more (Isaiah 25:2)
c) The city of the terrible nations will fear You (Isaiah 25:3)
2. Strength and refuge to those who trust Him
a) A strength to the poor (Isaiah 25:4)
b) A strength to the needy in distress (Isaiah 25:4)
c) A refuge from the storm (Isaiah 25:4)
d) A shade from the heat (Isaiah 25:4)
3. A special feast in Mount Zion
a) A special feast of victory and joy (Isaiah 25:6)
b) He will destroy the shroud of death (Isaiah 25:7)
i) The covering
ii) The veil
c) He will swallow up death itself (Isaiah 25:8)
i) He will wipe away all tears (Isaiah 25:8)
ii) He will remove the rebuke of His people (Isaiah 25:8)
4. The LORD has spoken
a) A solemn promise has been made
b) This word will be fulfilled
“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; There shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4
