"Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors..."

Text: Romans 8:37

DEALING WITH CRITICISMS

Critics of the faith can cast any number of doubts. They can cast one doubt after another, given half a chance.

1. They can criticize the doctrine of justification based upon God’s grace (Romans 8:31-34).

2. They can raise doubts about Christ’s love (Romans 8:35)

We need never fear criticisms if we have a firm knowledge of our salvation in Christ. We need never succumb to doubts when we have a strong faith in Christ!

ANOTHER DOUBT LEVELED AT BELIEVERS

Another “hidden” doubt may be noted. Critics may raise doubts about the strength of believers. If they cannot fault the answers about God and the Lord Jesus Christ, they can level doubts about the ability of believers to cope with trials and tribulations!

A STIRRING AND POWERFUL ANSWER

Paul’s answer was truly stirring and powerful. Yes, believers will be greatly stretched but they need not fear.

“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors
through Him who loved us.”
Romans 8:37
