Day 113 – Psalm 78

“And forgot His works…” Psalm 78:11a

CAN A NATION FORGET ITS GOD?

Asaph addressed this problem. His answer was written with great candour!

“And forgot His works
And His wonders that He had shown them.”
Psalm 78:11

WARNING ABOUT THE PROBLEM OF FORGETTING GOD

None other than Moses himself warned Israel of the danger of forgetting God.

“Beware that you do not forget the LORD your God
by not keeping His commandments, His judgments,
and His statutes which I command you today…
When your heart is lifted up, and you forget the
LORD your God who brought you out of the land
of Egypt, from the house of bondage.”
Deuteronomy 8:11, 14
