"According to my righteousness..."

Day 132 – Psalm 18

“According to my righteousness…” Psalm 18:20b

David did not lay claim to moral perfection. However he could say the following words:-

“The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness;
According to the cleanness of my hands
He has recompensed me.
For I have kept the ways of the LORD,
And have not wickedly departed from my God.”
Psalm 18:20-21
