You have been honored,
And I have loved you;
Therefore I will give men for you,
And people for your life.

c) We can become wiser through reading more of the Lord’s word

2. God sent a Reminder concerning who He is

a) He is the Lord our God

b) He is the Holy One of Israel

b) Others did not have much regard or respect for God

c) Still others had lost their faith in God

a) Not everyone remembers history well

b) Many lessons may be gleaned from Israel’s history

5. The mighty kingdoms of old

b) Ethiopia

d) These kingdoms affected others adversely

6. God reminded Israel of what He did for His people

a) God delivered them from their wicked powers

b) He protected His redeemed people
