Bible Reading:
3 “Listen to Me, O house of Jacob,
And all the remnant of the house of Israel,
Who have been upheld by Me from birth,
Who have been carried from the womb:4 Even to your old age, I am He,
And even to gray hairs I will carry you!
I have made, and I will bear;
Even I will carry, and will deliver you.Isaiah 46:3-4

a) Knowledge becomes Understanding
b) Understanding becomes Wisdom
c) We are not just getting older but Wiser!
THEME: “I have made, and I will bear;
Even I will carry, and will deliver you.” Isaiah 46:4
1. There are 4 wonderful truths in this Bible text
2. The truths are inter-connected, which thus add strength to each individual word
a) God has made us
b) He will bear us
c) He will carry us
d) He will deliver us
3. Let’s try and recast these promises
a) God is our Creator
i) He commits Himself to His creations
ii) This is to be treasured as a Divine Commitment
b) God has a Covenant Relationship with His people
i) We call this a Covenant with God
ii) God will carry us all the way through
c) God will Personally Carry His children
i) It is beautiful to see such commitments made in some families
ii) God’s commitment is even more precious
d) God will help us Conquer all enemies
i) He will deliver us from evil
ii) He will Conquer all our enemies!
