"They are before the throne of God"

Text: Revelation 7:15

BEFORE THE THRONE OF GOD

John was given a stirring explanation of how the myriads now stood before the throne of God. They had been greatly honoured with this great reward.

“Therefore they are before the throne of God,
and serve Him day and night in His temple.
And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them.
They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore;
the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat;
for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne
will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters.
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
Revelation 7:15-17

1. A glorious blessing.

a) To stand before the throne of God.

b) To serve Him day and night in His temple in heaven.

2. He who sits on the throne.

a) This is a reference to the Lord God.

b) He will dwell among His beloved servants.

c) He delights in them.

i) In their worship.

ii) In their service.

3. Some eternal blessings highlighted:

a) They will never know hunger or thirst ever again.

b) They need never fear the heat of the sun or any kind of heat (Psalm 121).

c) God will wipe away every tear personally.

4. The Lamb of God

a) He is in the midst of the throne in heaven

b) He will shepherd them

c) He will lead them to fountains of living water

These are wonderful blessings the myriads would receive from God in heaven!
