"Gather up your wares from the land"

Text: Jeremiah 10:17

THE INDIFFERENCE OF THE PEOPLE

Despite all that God had said to the children of Judah through the prophets, the inhabitants of the land were quite indifferent. They went about their life as if everything was normal.

“Gather up your wares from the land,
O inhabitant of the fortress!
For thus says the LORD:
‘Behold, I will throw out at this time
The inhabitants of the land,
And will distress them,
That they may find it so.'”
Jeremiah 10:17-18
