THE NAME OF THE LORD
God’s proclamation of His name is profound;
There is mystery and majesty all around!
God is who He is and He is eternal;
But His manifestations are historical!
Moses’ proclamation of God was different;
He could only declare what he experienced.
He discovered God in life and in ministry;
He stood in awe of the Lord’s great glory!
God was like a massive and majestic Rock;
Such is the awesome greatness of the LORD.
His ways are truly full of Justice that is Divine;
His word was revealed to Man over time.
He is a God of truth and He has no injustice at all;
Blessed are the nation and the people He calls!
God’s name is associated with righteousness;
He will uphold His people in absolute uprightness!
