BANDS OF LOVE
The Love of God is tender and pure;
It is a love so deep; it truly endures.
God remembered how He loved Israel;
Though enslaved, He called them His people.
God called Israel out of bondage;
Israel was slowly coming of age.
It was ready to become a nation;
God gave Israel His deep affection.
It was God who taught Israel how to walk;
He was always faithful, though Israel balked.
He drew Israel back with bands of love;
He tenderly spoke from Heaven above.
How should Israel respond to God?
No other nation was chosen by the LORD.
Should Israel not respond with faithfulness?
The LORD had shown so much kindness!
