I WILL LOVE THEM FREELY
Israel had provoked God to anger;
Many had become avid idolaters.
The people had turned its back on God;
Righteous anger came from the LORD.
But with the LORD there was mercy;
God would redeem them from misery.
He promised that He would turn from anger;
His wrath had resulted in great disaster.
God will love them freely and deeply;
The LORD is full of profound mercy.
He would restore the erring nation;
He would give them His affection.
The Love of God is truly profound;
How could He love when sins abound?
May we learn to treasure our great God!
There is truly no one like the LORD!
