HE WILL QUIET YOU WITH HIS LOVE
Israel was described as a beloved daughter;
The nation had experienced a disaster.
It was captured by the Assyrians;
They were scattered and lived as aliens.
The LORD sought to bring a word of Hope;
He promised that He would help them cope.
He will come to their rescue as King;
He will forgive all their wicked sins.
God will quiet them with His love;
He would come from heaven above.
He would bring peace to the land;
He will restore with His mighty hand.
God will rejoice over His beloved nation;
He will not allow them to fall into oblivion.
With loving eyes He would express His care;
His people need never fall into utter despair!
