Dear Parents,

THE VALUE OF “VIRTUES”
How our children will turn out in life will reflect, among other things, our parenting skills. May we be deeply challenged to impart “virtues” to our children.

Who can find a virtuous wife?
For her worth is far above rubies.

Proverbs 31:10

1. What does “virtue” mean?

The following thoughts must be borne in mind:-

a) Moral excellence

b) Goodness

c) Righteousness

d) High ethical values

2. The things that follow (consequently)

a) There is high worth (not high maintenance).

b) The virtuous wife finds herself highly equipped to handle all the problems associated with marriage and life).

c) The virtuous wife in context:-

i) She is multi-talented.

ii) She is able to do multi-tasking.

d) She succeeds beyond expectations:-

i) As a wife

ii) As an individual

iii) As a mother

All these come as direct consequences of being “virtuous”!
