WALK IN LOVE
(I) THE PLACE OF CHRIST IN OUR HEARTS
1. He is to dwell in our hearts through faith (Ephesians 3:17)
2. We are to be rooted in love (Ephesians 3:17)
3. We are to be grounded in love (Ephesians 3:17)
(II) THE CHALLENGE TO GROW IN KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST’S LOVE
1. To fathom the dimensions of Christ’s love (Ephesians 3:18)
a) Width
b) Length
c) Depth
d) Height
2. To know the love of Christ which passes knowledge (Ephesians 3:19)
a) Human knowledge
b) Beyond human experience
3. Filled with the Fullness of God (Ephesians 3:19)
(III) THE CALL TO WALK IN LOVE
“Walk in love as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us…” Ephesians 5:2
1. Call to Walk in love
2. Bearing in mind the Example of Christ
a) He loved us
b) He gave Himself for us
(IV) APPROPRIATE EXPRESSIONS OF LOVE
1. Bearing with one another in love (Ephesians 4:2)
2. Speaking the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15)
