a) No complaining
b) Thanksgiving
c) Gratitude

3. Application

a) Knowledge of God
b) Wisdom of God
c) Fear of God
d) Obedience to God
e) Holiness in life
f) Growth in faith and maturity

DANGERS TO NOTE

1. Focus on things material

2. Failure to cultivate the following:

a) Faith in God
b) Following God’s instructions

3. Folly followed

a) Unwise and unholy thoughts pursued
b) Not learning from chastening from the Lord
c) Repeat of errors time and again

EVERY EFFORT MUST BE MADE

1. To cultivate spiritual life

2. To follow godly examples (Moses)

3. To know God more deeply
