(II) SINGING OF THE SALVATION OF GOD

1. To bless His name (Psalm 96:2a)

2. To proclaim the good news of His salvation

a) To rejoice in the Lord

b) To reach out to people who need to hear the good news of salvation

3. To declare His glory

a) Among the nations

b) About His glory ( Psalm 96:3a )

c) About His wonders ( Psalm 96:3b )

(III) BEARING WITNESS THROUGH SINGING OF THE GREATNESS OF GOD

1. He is great and greatly to be praised (Psalm 96:4)

2. He is the Creator (Psalm 96:5)

3. Honour and majesty are before Him (Psalm 96:6a)

4. Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary (Psalm 96:6b)

5. The Lord reigns (Psalm 96:10a)

6. He is coming to judge the earth (Psalm 96:10, 13)

(IV) WORSHIPPING GOD

1. Ascribing strength to the Lord (Psalm 96:7)

2. Ascribing glory to Him (Psalm 96:8a)

3. Bringing an offering (Psalm 96:8b)

4. Trembling before the Lord (Psalm 96:9b)
