1. Because God has lifted us up (Psalm 30:1a)

2. Because God has healed us (Psalm 30:2b)

3. Because God has kept us alive (Psalm 30:3b)

4. Because God has shown us great favour (Psalm 30:5a)

5. Because God has replaced tears with joy (Psalm 30:5b)

6. Because God forgives our foolishness (Psalm 30:6-10)

7. Because God has given us glory (Psalm 30:12)

(IV) EVERY REASON TO SING PRAISES TO GOD WHEN WE ARE STILL ALIVE

1. The defeated cannot sing praises to God (Psalm 30:9)

2. The dead certainly cannot sing praises to God (Psalm 30:9)

3. The dejected cannot sing praises to God (Psalm 30:11)
