BE RENEWED IN THE SPIRIT OF YOUR MIND

Text: Ephesians 4

SPIRITUAL RENEWAL

Family Camp 2026 was a great time of spiritual Renewal for all who were sanctified by the Word of God! This is a special work of the Holy Spirit!

20 But you have not so learned Christ, 

21 if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus:

22 that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, 

23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 

24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.     Ephesians 4:20-24

  1. The work of Sanctification

a) It is through learning about the Lord Jesus

b) It is centred on understanding of the Truth as the Lord had taught

c) It is the invisible work of the Spirit of God

  1. The Necessity of putting away the following things:

a) Our former conduct

b) The “old man” (the sinful human nature)

c) It grows corrupt according to deceitful lusts

d) Sins would just keep growing unless they are totally discarded

  1. The Challenge to be Renewed

a) The renewal involves the spirit of the mind

b) The New Man that God has given to us must be cultivated

i)  In Righteousness

ii) In Holiness

OUR CHALLENGE

  1. Let us seek Revival this Easter
  1. Let us seek “perfection of holiness!”
