WITH EVERLASTING JOY

Text: Isaiah 35

THE HIGHWAY OF HOLINESS

Thank God for a glorious word to conclude 2025 with. This prophetic word speaks of a special Highway to Zion. It is called “The Highway of Holiness.”

8 A highway shall be there, and a road,

And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness.

The unclean shall not pass over it,

But it shall be for others.

Whoever walks the road, although a fool,

Shall not go astray.

9 No lion shall be there,

Nor shall any ravenous beast go up on it;

It shall not be found there.

But the redeemed shall walk there,

10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return,

And come to Zion with singing,

With everlasting joy on their heads.

They shall obtain joy and gladness,

And sorrow and sighing shall flee away.     Isaiah 35:8-10

  1. Who may not use this Highway

a) The Unclean

b) Any ravenous beast

  1. Who may have access to this Highway

a) The redeemed shall walk there

b) The ransomed shall return 

c) Even the simple can walk there without fear of going astray

  1. A glorious promise

a) Everlasting joy would be given (eternal joy)

b) Joy and gladness (daily joy)

c) No sorrow nor sighing

OUR CHALLENGE

  1. To conclude the year 2025 with Joy and Gladness
  1. To commence 2026 with determination to walk on the Highway of Holiness
