WELLS OF SALVATION
Text: Isaiah 12

EVERY REASON TO REJOICE
We have every reason to rejoice in the salvation we are given by the LORD. Let us ponder this wonderful song of salvation!
1 And in that day you will say:
“O Lord, I will praise You;
Though You were angry with me,
Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me.
2 Behold, God is my salvation,
I will trust and not be afraid;
‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song;
He also has become my salvation.’ ”
3 Therefore with joy you will draw water
From the wells of salvation. Isaiah 12:1-3
- The anger of God
a) It is turned away
b) The anger of the Lord has been exchanged for comfort instead
- God Himself is our salvation
a) There is no need to be afraid
b) Let us choose trust instead
- My strength and song
a) God is indeed our strength
b) He is also our song
- Wells of salvation
a) How wonderful to have a well full of life-giving water
b) These are our wells of salvation
c) Let us draw life-giving water with great joy!
