"This shall be the plague"

Text: Zechariah 14:12

THE PLAGUES OF EGYPT

The plagues that God sent to afflict Egypt were severe. These plagues were special acts of judgment against the Pharaoh and Egypt for their cruelty inflicted on Israel (Exodus 7-12). The LORD warned of a severe plague that would come upon the enemies of His people.

“And this shall be the plague with which
the LORD will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem:
Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet,
Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets,
And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths.”
