Revelation
"Worship God"
Text: Revelation 22:9
STRONG ADMONITION
John was a specially blessed servant of God. He was called and appointed as an apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ. He was given many glorious visions that were then condensed into a Book called Revelation.
To see visions that no one else had seen. To meet many mighty angels who wielded great authority, John must have felt overwhelmed.
“Now I, John, saw and heard these things.
And when I heard and saw,
I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel
who showed me these things.
Then he said to me,
‘See that you do not do that.
For I am your fellow servant,
and of your brethren the prophets,
and of those who keep the words of this book.
Worship God.'”
Revelation 22:8-9

b) The Lamb of God deserves adoration.
c) No angel must ever be worshipped.
