Day 11 – Psalm 90

“Make us glad…” Psalm 90:15a

LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO BE FILLED WITH SORROW

Life is way too short to be filled with sorrow. It is perfectly permissible to pray that God would grant us gladness of heart.

“Make us glad according to the days in which You have afflicted us,
The years in which we have seen evil.
Let Your work appear to Your servants,
And Your glory to their children.”
Psalm 90:15-16

ii) If there is resistance to God’s hand of discipline.
c) Pray that God would grant gladness of heart once again.
i) Gladness through reconciliation with God.
ii) Gladness through restoration of favour from God.

2. “Let Your work appear to Your servants”

a) Sin obscures vision of God’s work.
b) Sin hinders us from appreciating God’s work.

ii) Through the hands of His servants.
c) A needed prayer to comprehend the majesty and greatness of God’s work!
