Psalm 22:9b "You made Me trust while on My mother's breasts"

Day 166 – Psalm 22

“You made Me trust while on My mother’s breasts” Psalm 22:9b

THE THEME OF “TRUST”

This theme is well discussed in the Book of Psalms. The idea of trust keeps appearing in many psalms (Psalm 2:12; 7:1 etc).

“Trust” is also a theme that is given attention in Psalm 22. The following texts bear up this suggestion.

“Our fathers trusted in You;
They trusted, and You delivered them.”
Psalm 22:4

“They trusted in You, and were not ashamed.”
Psalm 22:5b

“He trusted in the LORD, let Him rescue Him”
Psalm 22:8a

“But You are He who took Me out of the womb;
You made Me trust while on My mother’s breasts.
I was cast upon You from birth.
From My mother’s womb
You have been My God.”
Psalm 22:9-10
