My Song In The Night (Gospel of Luke)
我夜间的歌曲《路加福音》
Text: Luke 11: 9-13
ENCOURAGEMENT TO KEEP PRAYING
“So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you;
seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened
to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who
seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”Luke 11:9-10
1. Praying may be described in three ways:
a. To ask
i. This may be in the form of a verbal request.
ii. God may answer our prayer request.
b. To seek
i. Sometimes, we are required to do our part.
ii. We may have to seek answers.
iii. We are to pray even as we seek.
iv. We may find what we seek after.
c. To knock
i. Sometimes, doors may be closed.
ii. We may have to knock on doors.
iii. Prayer is to be uttered even as we knock.
iv. Doors may be opened to us.
2. Encouragement to deepen our understanding of God as Father.
a. The Illustration of a son asking his father.
i. If he asks for bread, would his father give him a stone? (Luke 11:11a)
ii. If he asks for a fish, would he give him a serpent? (Luke 11:11b)
iii. If he asks for an egg, would he give him a scorpion? (Luke 11:11c)
b. God as our Father in Heaven.
i. Human beings, compared to God, are evil.
ii. But, notwithstanding this fact, a father would give goods gifts to his children (Luke 11:13a).
iii. God is our Heavenly Father.
iv. He will not only give us good gifts, He will give us the best of gifts- The Holy Spirit! (Luke 11:13b)

受鼓励继续祷告
“我又告诉你们:你们祈求,就给你们;
寻找,就寻见;叩门,就给你们开门。
因为凡祈求的,就得着;寻找的,就寻见;叩门的,
就给他开门。”《路加福音 11:9-10》
