MEDITATION
Genesis 1:29-31
29 And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.
30 Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so.
31 Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
Psalm 104:14-15
14 He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, And vegetation for the service of man, That he may bring forth food from the earth,
15 And wine that makes glad the heart of man, Oil to make his face shine, And bread which strengthens man’s heart.
MEANINGFUL APPLICATION TO LIFE
1. God made ample provision for:
a. Man
b. Animals
2. God’s personal word to both man and beast
a. He has wonderfully provided.
b. He had done His part most wonderfully.
3. A Divine review of Creation
a. God saw all that He had made.
b. And He saw that it was indeed very good.
4. Appropriate response
a. Let us have hearts that are truly grateful
i. For God’s provision.
ii. For His blessings.
b. Let us determine to reflect our special heritage:
That we are made in His image! We were created in “true righteousness and holiness” (Ephesians 4:24).

29 神说：“看哪，我将遍地上一切结种子的菜蔬和一切树上所结有核的果子，全赐给你们做食物。
30 至于地上的走兽和空中的飞鸟，并各样爬在地上有生命的物，我将青草赐给它们做食物。”事就这样成了。31 神看着一切所造的都甚好。有晚上，有早晨，是第六日。

14 他使草生长给六畜吃，使菜蔬发长供给人用，使人从地里能得食物。15 又得酒能悦人心，得油能润人面，得粮能养人心。
