Text: Exodus 6: 10-13
MEDITATION
Exodus 6:10-13
10 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
11 “Go in, tell Pharaoh king of Egypt to let the children of Israel go out of his land.”
12 And Moses spoke before the LORD, saying, “The children of Israel have not heeded me. How then shall Pharaoh heed me, for I am of uncircumcised lips?”
13 Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, and gave them a command for the children of Israel and for Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.
MEANINGFUL APPLICATION TO LIFE
1. God’s word to Moses
a. This was important for Moses.
i. His knowledge of God must increase.
ii. His faith must become deeper.
iii. His character must also become stronger.
b. This was important for the Mission to succeed.
i. He must know what to say.
ii. He must know what to do.
2. Moses must return to Pharaoh
a. He must present his case again.
b. The first encounter had not turned out well.
c. He must overcome his lack of confidence and courage.
3. Moses protested again
a. The children of Israel had not heeded him.
b. How could he expect Pharaoh to heed him?
c. He said that he was person with unclean lips (uncircumcised..
d. Moses was greatly discouraged.
4. The command of the LORD
a. God was the LORD.
b. He had two commandments:
i. One was for the children of Israel.
ii. One was for the Pharaoh.
c. The children of Israel will go from the land of Egypt.
i. This was a decree by the LORD.
ii. It would be fulfilled.

11 “你进去对埃及王法老说,要容以色列人出他的地。”
12 摩西在耶和华面前说:“以色列人尚且不听我的话,法老怎肯听我这拙口笨舌的人呢?”13 耶和华吩咐摩西、亚伦往以色列人和埃及王法老那里去,把以色列人从埃及地领出来。
