Day 183

"A vineyard of red wine"

Text: Isaiah 27:2

ANOTHER VINEYARD SONG

The first Vineyard Song may be found in Isaiah 5. In this song, the Vine of Israel did not bear any significant fruit.

Isaiah 27 is another Vineyard Song. This Song offers a deep contrast. The LORD is described as the One who is deeply committed to guarding the Vineyard of Israel.

“In that day sing to her,
‘A vineyard of red wine!
I, the LORD, keep it,
I water it every moment;
Lest any hurt it,
I keep it night and day.'”
