3 “Listen to Me, O house of Jacob,
And all the remnant of the house of Israel,
Who have been upheld by Me from birth,
Who have been carried from the womb:4 Even to your old age, I am He,
And even to gray hairs I will carry you!
I have made, and I will bear;
Even I will carry, and will deliver you.Isaiah 46:3-4
1. The Joy of “Repeat Reading”
a) The Bible text becomes easier to understand
b) It becomes more real and precious
c) The word of God brings special joy to the heart
2. Recall Precious Thoughts
a) This is good and helpful
b) The memory needs to be refreshed
c) It can be strengthened through Recalling
3. What are your personal Precious Thoughts you can Recall?
a) That God cares for us faithfully, no matter how small we may feel
b) That God has been there with us, throughout our life
c) That God will continue to uphold us to the very end of life
THEME: “Even to your old age, I am He,
And even to gray hairs I will carry you!” Isaiah 46:4
1. Do you like “old age?”
a) Few people like being “Seniors”
b) Many struggle in old age
2. Some common problems Seniors face
a) Family problems
b) Health problems
c) Financial problems
d) Personal problems like Loneliness
3. Good solutions are hard to find
a) But let’s not grumble
b) Let’s not be in despair
c) Let’s not withdraw into isolation
GOD’S PROMISE TO SENIORS
1. God knows when we enter into “old age”
2. He knows when we have “gray hairs”
3. We do not need to struggle badly when old age comes!
4. We have a wonderful promise to cheer the heart
a) We may be old, but God is NOT. He is Eternally the same
b) God promises that He will bear us up and carry us when we are old
c) This promise can bring such hope and cheer to the heart
5. May our hearts be uplifted as we read this word of God!
LET’S CONSIDER HOW WE CAN RESPOND WELL
1. Believe God’s promise
This is what can bring Hope and Joy to the heart!
2. Bless the Lord’s Name
1 Bless the LORD, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!2 Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:Psalm 103:1-2
3. Be a Blessing to people
a) We can share our faith in God
b) We can share our confidence in Him
c) We can encourage people to trust God

b. 经文会显得更加真实和宝贵
c. 上帝的话语会给人的内心带来特别的喜乐
2. 重温宝贵的思想
a. 这是美好且有益的事
b. 记忆需要不断被更新
c. 透过重温与回想,这些思想可以被加强

a. 无论我们觉得自己多么渺小,上帝都信实地眷顾我们
b. 上帝一生都与我们同在

1. 你喜欢“年老”吗?
a. 很少人喜欢成为“年长者”
b. 许多人在晚年面对各种挣扎
2. 年长者常面对的一些问题
a. 家庭问题
b. 健康问题
c. 经济问题
d. 个人问题,例如孤单感
3. 这些问题往往不容易解决
a. 但让我们不要埋怨
b. 不要陷入绝望
c. 不要退缩并与人隔绝
上帝给年长者的应许
1. 上帝知道我们何时“年老”
2. 祂知道我们何时“发白”
3. 当晚年来到时,我们不必痛苦地挣扎!
4. 我们拥有一个能使心灵得安慰的美好应许
a. 我们会衰老,但上帝不会。祂永远不改变。
b. 上帝应许,当我们年老时,祂必扶持我们、怀抱我们。
c. 这个应许能够给人带来盼望与安慰。
5. 愿我们读到这段上帝的话语时,内心得着鼓舞!
让我们思想应当如何回应
1. 相信上帝的应许
这是能给人心带来盼望和喜乐的关键!
2. 称颂上帝的圣名
1 我的心哪,你要称颂耶和华;
凡在我里面的,也要称颂祂的圣名!2 我的心哪,你要称颂耶和华,
不可忘记祂的一切恩惠。《诗篇103:1-2》
