"They brought you ivory tusks and ebony"

Text: Ezekiel 27:15

FAMOUS TRADERS

Tyre had famous traders like Togarmah and Dedan. These names may not mean much to the modern reader. But these names were cited because they represented significant trading partners of Tyre.

“Those from the house of Togarmah
traded for your wares with horses, steeds, and mules.
The men of Dedan were your traders;
many isles were the market of your hand.
They brought you ivory tusks and ebony as payment.”
