Fruit-Bearing

Text: Colossians 1:6

It was the Lord Jesus Himself who taught His disciples that they must bear fruit. They will assuredly bear fruit if they learned to abide in Him.

The apostle Paul was convinced that Jesus was right. In his own life, he bore much fruit. In his epistles he wrote about bearing fruit too (e.g. Galatians 5:22-23). In the following text, Paul look at the fruit the Colossians were able to bear.

“Which has come to you, as it has also in all the world,
and is bringing forth fruit, as it is among you since the day
you heard and knew the grace of God in truth.”
