GIFTS FROM GOD

Many are the gifts from God! Our challenge is to discover and develop our gifts and use them for His glory!

7 But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift.

8 Therefore He says:

“When He ascended on high,

He led captivity captive,

And gave gifts to men.”

9 (Now this, “He ascended”—what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth? 

10 He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.).    Ephesians 4:7-10

  1. The Gift of Grace

a) The underlying great gift is “grace”

b) Grace reminds us of God’s mercy and love

  1. The Measure of Christ’s Gift

a) How God plans His gift is His choice

b) All gifts come about through the Lord Jesus Christ

  1. The Lord’s Victory

a) He defeated sin and Satan

b) As a Conqueror He can give as He so wishes

  1. To discover our Gifts

  1. To deploy them for God’s glory
