HE WHO FEARS THE LORD
He who fears the Lord is clearly identified;
His lifestyle and relationships are described.
He does things that are righteous;
He has nothing to do with wickedness.
He will relate to his neighbours faithfully;
He will never speak against them falsely.
He will be loyal and true to his friends;
Upon his support, they may fully depend.
He will not take advantage of those in poverty;
He will not give loans to obtain mere usury.
He will be kind to those who are in need;
His kindness reflects he fears God deeply.
The one who fears the Lord would be blessed;
The Lord would sustain him in times of duress.
He would dwell in the Lord’s holy Tabernacle;
The person who fears God is truly respectable.
