THE BLESSINGS THAT STAND OUT
Some blessings stand out because they are so significant,
These are to be deeply appreciated for they are important.
The provisions of life ought to be traced to the LORD;
It is truly He who has proven Himself to be a faithful God!
Then there is the Angel of the LORD and His redemption;
His work must be remembered with deep affection.
Evil was afoot, bent on destroying any faith in life;
The salvation of the Messiah rescues from deadly strife!
The LORD has given believers a new and glorious name;
We no longer need to hang our head in awful shame.
He has totally forgiven our sinful and wretched ways;
He has offered to all who believe in Him a bright new day!
We may call on this great God and ask for His blessings;
He will hear and grant us, within His will, all things!
What a challenge it is to walk before this living God;
How wonderful it is to trust in our Covenant-LORD!
