REJOICE IN THE LORD YOUR GOD
Fear comes when life seems bleak;
The heart trembles when one is weak.
Despair threatens to overwhelm the soul;
Gone is the spirit, confident and bold.
Fear must be fought most strenuously;
Faith must be regained in God’s mercy.
The promises of God must be trusted again;
He has promised the former and latter rain.
He will make the pastures come alive and flourish;
The vine and the fig trees would no longer perish.
He will bring new hope to the weary nation;
He will bring about the much-needed restoration.
He will cause His blessings to overflow;
The Lord will bless and all things grow.
Thus, the heart may rejoice in the LORD;
There is truly, no one, like our great God!
