BY FAITH ABRAHAM OBEYED
Abram was already seventy-five years of age,
When he decided to exercise Faith as an adage!
Faith in the LORD must include obedience;
Obeying God was of utmost importance.
There were many lessons to learn along the way;
There were mistakes and sins committed on some days.
But Abram was determined to learn Faith’s lessons;
He had begun to have a strong faith about Heaven.
God changed his name to Abraham one day;
Abraham’s Faith held, when testing came his way.
God was pleased with the Faith that was displayed;
The Call of the LORD to Canaan was obeyed!
Abraham’s Faith enabled him to see deeply;
He saw the LORD’s glorious heavenly city.
His heart longed to dwell in the abode of God;
His Faith had become even stronger in the LORD.
