FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH
It was God who commanded three Pilgrimages;
All the sons of Israel must seek to be courageous.
The journey to Jerusalem is sometimes difficult;
But the true sons of faith will obey His word full tilt.
The Valley of Baca speaks of shedding tears;
There were many dangers and also some fears.
But those who are fortified with strength are not deterred;
They go from strength to strength as they persevered.
The joy of being in God’s House offsets every problem;
There was no happiness greater than being in Zion.
Thousands throng the streets of the Holy City of God;
Everyone is devoted to offering worship to the Lord!
Blessed is the one who has set his heart on a pilgrimage;
He is not deterred because his heart is full of courage.
The desire to obey God and to fulfil what He has commanded;
This brings forth a deep strength that can be wonderfully developed.
