THE FATHER LOVES THE SON
What is a good way of understanding the Fatherhood of God?
It is best understood by knowing His relationship to Jesus the Lord.
John bore testimony that the Father loves the Son dearly;
He heard the Voice of God at His baptism speaking clearly.
“This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased;”
To the Lord Jesus the Spirit of God was fully released.
All prophets may have received a portion of the Spirit of God;
But the Lord Jesus would have fullness of the Spirit of the LORD!
The Father had entrusted all things to the Lord Jesus;
He would give to all who believe, imputed righteousness.
He would give everlasting life to all who believed in Him;
They would be forgiven and cleansed of all their sins!
The Father’s love for the Son of God was deep and profound;
This love is also given to all believers and it truly abounds.
Let us seek to deepen our relationship with God the Father;
We will find that He alone is the LORD God, there is no other!
