IT IS NOT TOO LATE TO START AFRESH
The Psalmist realised that his ways were not right;
The Lord’s Statutes, he had not kept in full sight.
He knew his life was not greatly blessed at all;
He had failed to hear and heed the Divine call.
He felt ashamed when he reads the Scriptures;
He had not made God’s Word his treasures.
He was sad as he pondered the Commandments;
He feared deeply the LORD’s abandonment.
He decided that he would address his spiritual lack;
He determined that he would not be laid-back!
He would take time to learn God’s righteous judgments;
He would earnestly seek mercy and holy atonement.
He believed that it was not too late to start afresh;
He would read the LORD’s word and be refreshed.
He looked forward to the day when he can offer praise;
The LORD would show compassion, mercy and grace!
