“TRUST IN THE LORD AND DO GOOD”

 

(I) THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE RIGHTEOUS AND THE WICKED

(II) THE WICKED DESCRIBED

(Psalm 37)

1. Evildoers (Psalm 37:1, 9)

2. Workers of iniquity (Psalm 37:1)

3. The wicked (Psalm 37:12, 14, 16, 17, 21, 32, 35, 38)

4. The transgressor (Psalm 37:38)

5. In life

a) They may be powerful (Psalm 37:35)

b) But they will eventually die (Psalm 37:36)

c) They will be no more

4. He will have salvation (Psalm 37:39)

5. He will inherit the earth (Psalm 37:11, 22, 29)

6. His steps will be ordered by God (Psalm 37:23)

7. He will have strength (Psalm 37:39)

8. He will have deliverance (Psalm 37:40)
