HEARTFELT APPRECIATION
1. God the Father
a) Foreknowledge of God (1 Peter 1:2)
b) God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Peter 1:3)
c) We may call Him “Father” (1 Peter 1:17)
2. Jesus our Saviour
Sprinkling of the blood of Christ (1 Peter 1:2)
3. The Holy Spirit
Sanctification of the Spirit (1 Peter 1:2)
THE MANY ROLES OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
1. The blood of Christ
a) Reference to His death
b) His blood sprinkles us clean (1 Peter 1:2)
c) Precious blood of Christ (1 Peter 1:19)
2. The resurrection of Christ
a) Firstly, He had to die on the cross
b) But He was resurrected from the dead (1 Peter 1:3)
3. The Return of Christ Jesus

4. The sufferings of Christ
