CELEBRATING THE LORD JESUS CHRIST THIS CHRISMAS

1. The Image of God

HONOURING THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

1. God did not spare His own Son Romans 8:32a

2. But delivered Him up for us all Romans 8:32b

3. The sacrifice Christ made

THE WORK OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

1. Offense
Through one man’s offense
Judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation Romans 5:18

2. Righteous act
Even so, through one Man’s righteous act
The free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life Romans 5:19

3. Disobedience
For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners Romans 5:20a

4. Obedience
So also, by one Man’s obedience, many will be made righteous Romans 5:20b

5. Law and Grace

Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more,
So that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 5:20-21
