1. Another “law” within Man (Romans 7:21)

a) The problem of “evil”
b) The man may will to do good

2. The good that Man may desire to do (Romans 7:22)

a) Delighting in the law of God
b) According to the inward man

3. The law of Evil at work (Romans 7:23)

a) Another law is noted
b) It wars against the law of my mind
c) Brings the individual to captivity
d) To the law of sin which is in my members

4. Battling despair (Romans 7:24)

a) O wretched man that I am
b) Who will deliver me from the body of death?

5. Thank God (Romans 7:25)

a) Through Jesus Christ our Lord
b) The Means
i) Through His blood
ii) Through grace
iii) Through identification (baptism)
iv) Through obedience
v) Through presenting of ourselves to God
vi) Through faith

6. Still unresolved

a) With the mind we serve the law of God
b) But with the flesh the law of sin
c) The conflict will always be there
