1. Prayer- Thanksgiving Romans 1:8

c) To thank God for the faith of the Roman Christians
It was well known throughout all the world Romans 1:8

2. Prayer- Without ceasing Romans 1:9
Meaning

a) Regularly
b) Faithfully
c) Consistently

3. Prayer- Request/ Petition Romans 1:9-10

a) In God’s will
b) To visit Rome and be with the Church there
c) To help the brethren to become established

4. Serving the Lord Romans 1:9-12

a) Serving in the Gospel of the Son of God Romans 1:9
b) Serving in the spirit Romans 1:9
i) Not mechanically
ii) Not in the flesh
iii) But deeply with great understanding and zeal

5. Reasons for wanting to go to Rome Romans 1:11, 13

a) To help them be established
b) To impart some spiritual gift to them
i) Knowledge
ii) Wisdom
c) To have some fruit in this ministry in Rome

6. Mutual faith Romans 1:12

a) A blessing to the Roman Christians
b) Personal encouragement

b) Hindrances prevented Paul from visiting Rome

8. Among the Gentiles Romans 1:13
