THE IDEA OF A PHYSICAL SANCTUARY

1. Divine revelation    Exodus 25

Then the LORD spoke to Moses…    Exodus 25:1

2. Divine instruction concerning the giving of offerings    Exodus 25

Speak to the children of Israel, that they may bring Me and offering…”    Exodus 25:2a

c) The subject: Bringing of an offering

i) God asks for an offering to be given
ii) This offering is to be seen as being given to the Lord Him

6. Significance of a Physical Sanctuary

Let them make Me a sanctuary that I may dwell among them…    Exodus 25:8
