THE CALL TO BEAR WITNESS

2. By the Lord Jesus Christ   (Acts 1:8)

OWNING THE WORK OF WITNESSING

1. The work of witnessing becomes effective when people “own it”

2. Obedience is one thing; owning it is another

3. What does it mean “to own the work of witnessing?”

IMPORTANT HISTORICAL CONTEXT

1. Post-resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ   (Acts 1)

(Only 120 people formed the church)
