(I) THE NEW COVENANT

1. Given by Jesus

2. Sealed by His blood

“This is My blood of the New Covenant” Matthew 26:28

(II) SIGNIFICANT FEATURES OF THE NEW COVENANT

1. The Divine laws of God are written upon our hearts (2 Corinthians 3:1-3)

2. The Spirit of God Himself undertakes this task of writing upon our hearts (2 Corinthians 3:13)

3. We become epistles of Christ (2 Corinthians 3:1-3)

(III) AN APPRECIATION OF THIS NEW COVENANT

1. It is life-giving (2 Corinthians 3:6)

2. It is full of glory (2 Corinthians 3:8-11)

3. It is liberating (2 Corinthians 3:17)

4. It is life-transforming (2 Corinthians 3:18)

(IV) PARTAKERS OF THE NEW COVENANT

1. Who may be partakers of the New Covenant?

Anyone who has faith in Jesus as the Risen Saviour

2. What are some of the practical ramifications of believing in Christ?

a) God begins a work of transformation in our hearts

b) We find New Life in Christ

c) We are liberated from the powers of sin and the Devil

d) We are privileged to serve this God as “ministers of the New Covenant”
