“HE SENT MOSES HIS SERVANT”

 

(I) GOD SENDS PEOPLE

1. Joseph

a) To save many lives from starving to death when famine hit Egypt badly (Genesis 50:20)

b) To provide for his family (Genesis 50:21)


2. Moses

a) To perform His signs and wonders (Psalm 105:27-36)

i) Darkness (Psalm 105:28)

ii) Water into blood (Psalm 105:29)

iii) Frogs (Psalm 105:30)

iv) Flies (Psalm 105:31a)

v) Lice (Psalm 105:31b)

vi) Hail (Psalm 105:32-33)

vii) Locusts (Psalm 105:34-35)

viii) Death of firstborn (Psalm 105:36)

b) To deliver Israel from bondage in Egypt (Psalm 105:37)

i) Left Egypt with silver and gold

ii) None feeble among His tribes

 

(II) GOD SEEKS TO FULFIL HIS COVENANT-PROMISES

1. He remembers His covenant forever (Psalm 105:8a)

2. His covenant will stand securely for all time (1000 generations) (Psalm 105:8b)

3. It is an everlasting covenant (Psalm 105:10b)

 

(III) APPROPRIATE RESPONSE

1. To love and appreciate God

2. To treasure His Covenant-Promises

3. To desire to be His servants to fulfill His promises
