(II) DESCRIPTION OF A CHURCH FULL OF LIFE

1. Works (Revelation 2:9)

2. Enduring tribulation (Revelation 2:9)

3. Sacrifices (poverty) (Revelation 2:9)

4. Unbowed in testing (Revelation 2:10)

(III) DEATH OF A CHURCH

“You have a name that you are alive, but you are dead” Revelation 3:1

1. Only a reputation/name (Revelation 3:1)

2. Bereft of energy

3. Bereft of activities

4. Bereft of life

(IV) REASONS WHY CHURCHES DIE

1. Living on past reputation (Revelation 3:1)

2. Weaknesses not dealt with (Revelation 3:2)

3. Ailments not attended to (Revelation 3:2)

4. Works not perfect (Revelation 3:2)

5. Did not hold fast to Word (Revelation 3:3)
